I’m not a teacher, but my wife is in her 32nd year. A couple of weeks ago, my brother was at a conference in Atlanta and met a guy who asked if he was related to a Mrs. Russell who taught kindergarten in Chattanooga. He said that Mrs. Russell recognized that he was gifted and referred him to another school that had a gifted program. He said that was why he was able to go to college and get his degree. That was in 1987. It made her day.
